Cool-season Turfgrass
Refers to transplanted grasses that grow better in cooler weather. Turfgrass is often planted in areas such as stadiums and golf courses to reduce noise and air pollution, as well as reduce glare and heat buildup. Kentucky bluegrass and tall fescue are examples of cool-season turfgrasses.
