The Green in Spring-Green
Post-Emergent Herbicide
Definition:
Post-emergent Herbicide
Post-emergent herbicides are used to kill weeds after they have germinated. These specialized herbicides must be used as the plant is actively growing and not simply green. Post-emergent weed control kills existing plants and must be applied with discretion as too heavy or widespread an application can kill nearby desirable plants.
