Definition:
Saline Soil
A soil containing enough soluble salt to negatively affect plant growth. This soil condition can be caused by both natural and artificial means, and is often the result inadequate drainage, which prevents saline from being leached. Proper yard care can reduce the effects of saline soil and facilitate growing grass.
