Snow Mold

Definition:

Snow Mold

A family of fungi that forms circular, dead patches of grass visible after the snow melts. Snow mold typically is found in pink or gray varieties, both of which can result in death or prolonged damage. A common lawn treatment for snow mold is a fungicide.
