Does Spring-Green require a service contract?

Yes. In order to provide optimum service and fully guarantee our work, we require a 12 month service contract.

Does Spring-Green provide free estimates?

The application price and annual package is consistent for the majority of single family homes in our service area. The guaranteed service is designed to provide eradication of pests despite the level of infestation. For these reasons, our pricing is consistent across the board.

How long will the service take?

Our 1st visit is typically longer than the subsequent visits. Spring-Green provides a thorough and complete inspection of the entire home as well as an extensive clean out of hot spots and potential infestation areas. For this reason, your first visit could last 45 mins – 2 hours. All other visits typically last 20-30 minutes.

What is the process for quarterly service?

The time between visits is approximately 90 days.

What is your current service area?

We currently service indoor pest control services to the greater Chicagoland Illinois area only. This includes, Naperville, Plainfield, Bolingbrook, Oswego, Aurora, Wheaton, Romeoville, Montgomery, Oak Brook, Hinsdale, Joliet, Downers Grove, Tinley Park, Frankfort, and more. Is it necessary to leave my home during the service? If so, for how long?

You are not required to leave the home unless certain medical conditions exist. We ask that anyone on oxygen or chronically asthmatic should remove themselves from the home long enough for the treatment to settle. We simply ask that you avoid treated areas during the time of service and up to 15 minutes after the treatment is completed.

Will the stuff harm my children or pets?

Our products are used in accordance with label recommendations, and pose a minimal risk to people and pets.

What is included in the Total Home Pest Control Program?

The Pest Control Professional will first perform a thorough interior inspection which includes baseboards, carpet, window sills, window treatments, entry ways, ceilings, corners, crown molding, sinks, under sinks, pantries, between appliances, closets, basement walls, crawl space walls. This comprehensive inspection is designed to identify specific pest problems, and eliminate established invaders. Spring-Green will clean out hot spots and establish internal and external barriers. Products will be rotated throughout the year to prevent resistance.

The second visit involves collecting data from your initial treatment, re-establishing a strong barrier, and disrupting pest life cycles.

The third and fourth visits are designed to strengthen the barrier. This is especially important when the weather begins to cool and remains cold, as invaders search for food, water, warmth, and shelter.

What certifications do Spring-Green pest control technicians have?

Spring-Green takes certification seriously and we make sure our Pest Control Professionals are properly trained and receive annual certification based on state regulations. All of our Team Members are required to complete an internal certification through Spring-Green University, our proprietary online Learning Management System.

What is Spring-Green’s guarantee?

As a Spring-Green Total Home Pest Control customer, we guarantee your reasonable satisfaction with our pest control services. Due to the habits and life cycles of certain insects, no service or treatment can expect to achieve 100% control of all target pests at all times. As such, there may be times when pests are present days or weeks after a service visit.

In the event that you are not satisfied with the services provided by your Spring-Green technician, please notify us by phone or email within 90 days after your service is performed and we will return to your home to diagnose the problem and re-treat as is necessary. Due to the habits and life cycles of certain insects, no service or treatment can expect to achieve 100% control of all target pests at all times. As such, there may be times when pests are present days or weeks after a service visit. We will continue to work with you until you are satisfied. If we are unable to meet your expectations, we may refund or credit the cost of the services. For one time applications we guarantee the results for up to 30 days.

What’s the guarantee if I don’t take the full program?

We offer a limited guarantee on anything less than our full program. We’ll correct any problem, related to our originally scheduled visit, at no extra charge if notified within 14 days of that visit. However, if you take advantage of our full program, there is no 14-day limit with our guarantee.

How and when do I pay?

You can prepay for the entire program up front. If you don’t prepay, we’ll give you an invoice at the time of service. If you are not home, we’ll leave the invoice at your door for you to mail in a payment or pay online.

What happens if I see bugs in my home in between visits?

If you notice persistent pests between service visits, call us; service calls are FREE. We’ll come back to diagnose the problem and re-treat as is necessary, at no additional charge.
